SnapMind is operated by SUMA GRAVITY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong.

1. Information We Process

SnapMind is an AI reading notes app. In the current version, users can use the app without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email address, or precise location.

User-Submitted Content

When you choose to use AI summary features, SnapMind may process content that you actively submit, including:

• URLs you paste into the app
• Webpage titles, source domains, and extracted article text
• Text recognized from images or camera captures on your device
• AI-generated summaries and key points
• Reading notes or saved items created inside the app

This content is processed to provide app functionality, such as extracting article text, generating AI summaries, and saving reading notes.

Anonymous Usage Information

To provide a limited number of free AI summaries each day and prevent abuse, SnapMind may use an anonymous app installation identifier or similar non-account identifier.

This identifier is used for functionality such as daily usage limits and service protection. It is not used for advertising tracking and is not intended to directly identify you.

Technical Information

Our backend systems may process limited technical information necessary to operate the service, such as request timestamps, request status, error logs, and server logs.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

In the current version of SnapMind, we do not intentionally collect:

• Your real name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, unless you contact us directly for support
• Your precise location
• Your contacts
• Your payment information
• Advertising identifiers for tracking

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to operate and improve SnapMind, including to:

• Generate AI summaries for links or text submitted by users
• Extract webpage title, source, image, and article content when available
• Save and organize reading notes on your device
• Enforce daily free AI summary limits
• Prevent abuse, excessive automated requests, or service misuse
• Troubleshoot errors and maintain service reliability
• Respond to support requests

4. AI Processing

SnapMind uses third-party AI service providers to generate summaries. When you submit a link, extracted article text, or OCR-recognized text for summarization, that content may be sent to our backend service and processed by an AI model provider.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business information, financial information, medical information, or any content you do not want processed by AI services.

AI-generated summaries may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should review the original source when accuracy matters.

5. Local Storage

SnapMind may store saved reading notes, summaries, folders, and related app data locally on your device. You can delete saved items inside the app.

6. Cloud Infrastructure

Our backend services may be hosted on cloud infrastructure located in the United States or other regions where our service providers operate. We use cloud infrastructure to process requests, manage usage limits, and operate SnapMind securely.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for advertising tracking.

We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate SnapMind, including cloud hosting providers and AI model providers.

8. Retention

User-submitted content processed by backend services is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Saved reading notes stored locally on your device remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app.

9. Children’s Privacy

SnapMind is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by SnapMind. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Because SnapMind may use cloud and AI service providers located in different countries or regions, information processed by the app may be processed outside your country or region of residence.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app or by updating the effective date above.
